Crimson Star's Water Garden Gallery
Before the adventure began, March, 2004 (Copyright Crimson Star. All rights reserved.)    My wife and I were on our way to the Home & Garden Show in Edmonton, Alberta.

It was a typical day in late March: sunny and -20°C. We walked into the exhibition hall, where we were greeted by several water garden displays. It was hard to believe that anybody could get excited about such things at this time of the year.

Certainly not me, anyway. I hate salesmen with a passion and there was no way they were ever going to sucker me into buying something that I didn't need. Fact is, in the three years we had lived in St. Albert, I had only gone into the garden a few times.
