Alexander Gordon
From:  Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire

Alexander Gordon was a Scottish prisoner of war at Tuthill Fields, London.  He was redeemed there by Daniel Stone of Cambridge and came to New England with John Cloyes under verbal agreement, working his passage with Captain John Allen.  Cloyes' sale of him to Samuel Stratton on 15 Oct 1652, after a year's work without compensation, resulted in his appeal to the court in Feb 1653-4.  His history unknown for 10 years, but he was married to Mary Lissen before 10 Oct 1664, when he had an Exeter grant adjacent land given him by his father-in-law Lissen.

John Gordon
From:  Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire

John married Sarah (daughter of Lt. John Allen) in Salisbury on 23 Dec 1697.   He lived in Exeter, at times Salisbury, until 1722; thereafter divided his time between Exeter and Biddeford.  Bought and sold much land in Exeter and Biddeford, besides giving Biddeford land to two sons.

Mary Easton

Mary travelled across the country to California in a covered wagon.  She said that they were attacked by Indians occasionally.

Mary spent her last years in a rest home in San Francisco.  My grandparents took my uncle and mother to California in 1929, where they met Mary.  I inherited some needlework that Mary made.
